Version 1 · effective September 1, 2026
The short version: we collect little, we sell nothing, we run no ad trackers, and we never see your platform password.
What we collect
- Platform identifiers you give us — a public username or team ID, and the public data attached to it: team names, rosters, scores, leaguemates. This is data your platform already publishes.
- Email and state — only if you pledge a seat for the paid season, or when it’s needed to pay you a prize.
- Country and state signals — from your connection, via Cloudflare, used only to apply eligibility rules: prizes are US-only and some regions are blocked entirely.
- Push subscription — only if you turn notifications on. It’s an endpoint your browser gives us, not your identity.
- A referral cookie — if you arrived through someone’s invite link, a cookie remembers who invited you (first touch, kept up to a year) so we can credit them under the Founding Commissioners program.
- Server logs and our own analytics events — what happened on the site: a duel was created, a week settled. Our analytics are self-hosted; there are no third-party trackers, no ad pixels, and no analytics scripts on the site.
What we never collect
Your platform password — no page of ours asks for it. Your SSN: free-season prizes are capped at $1,999 a year specifically so we never need it — the IRS reporting threshold is $2,000 for payments from 2026. Payment details — there are none in the free season; when paid contests open, payments and identity checks will be handled by a licensed payment provider, and this page will be updated first.
How we use it
To run duels, tables, and prizes; to notify you if you asked; to credit referrals; to enforce eligibility and our rules; to keep the service working. That’s the list.
Who we share it with
Infrastructure only: our hosting provider, Cloudflare (which sits in front of the site), and your browser’s push service if you enabled notifications. When cash contests open: a payment and identity-verification provider, for payouts and identity checks. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, ever.
Public by design
Team names, league names, scores, and head-to-head records appear on public pages — that’s the product. If a team is yours and you want it off the site, email privacy@fantasy1v1.com from any address, prove control of the team — we’ll ask you to temporarily rename it to a code — and we’ll hide it: the team shows as “Team (hidden)”, challenges to it stop, and active rivalries close. Prize winners are published on the payouts page; accepting a prize means accepting that.
Your choices
Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data: privacy@fantasy1v1.com. Deleting your account removes your personal data; settled results in other people’s records stay — their record is their history too — but your name comes off it. Push can be turned off in your browser at any time. The referral cookie can be cleared like any cookie.
Retention
Account data lives while the account does. Pledges live until launch, then convert or get deleted on request. Analytics events and logs are kept only as long as they’re useful for running the service and reading our own funnel.
Age
The service is 18+. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if an age check fails, the signup stops and nothing is kept.
Changes
Same rule as everywhere on this site: the version and date at the top change, material changes get flagged before they apply, nothing reaches backward.
